Alfred Morris amasses 98 yards for fantasy owners, but fumbles twice in red zone
The Redskins’ feature back could have had a much bigger day on the ground despite logging nearly 100 yards in the team’s 27-26 loss. We break down the fantasy implications.

Morris moved the ball effectively, amassing 98 yards on 18 carries, but his two fumbles threw a wrench into his totals. The Redskins turned the ball over a whopping seven times, and both of Morris’ fumbles occurred in the red zone. Had the Redskins sustained those drives, it’s reasonable to think that Morris would have been in the mix for a touchdown. Instead, he was held out of the end zone for the sixth time in the last seven games.
Fantasy Spin: Entering Week 15, Alfred Morris was sixth in the NFL in rushing yardage, but has been one of the more inconsistent fantasy options, especially in PPR leagues. But with the Redskins finishing the season versus weaker defenses and with Kirk Cousins forcing defenses to respect the pass, Morris could see room to run down the stretch. That will remain the case next week when he faces a Dallas Cowboys defense that has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing running backs this season. Morris is entrenched in RB2 territory despite his cold streak.
