Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon helped breathe life into a stagnant passing game on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.
Pierre Garcon erupts for 129 yards and touchdown for fantasy owners
The Redskins’ No. 1 receiver lived up to his status on Sunday with another big game. We break down the fantasy implications.

With Kirk Cousins at the helm for his first start of the season, Garcon reclaimed the productive form he displayed in the season’s early goings. Garcon made his presence especially known in the first half after hauling in a 53-yard touchdown from Cousins, and routinely ripping off big yardage after the catch. Garcon finished with a team-high 129 yards and 10 targets, catching seven of those.
Fantasy Spin: The offense moved the ball far more effectively than it had in previous weeks with Cousins at the helm, although it is worth mentioning that they faced one of the league’s bottom-ranked defenses in the Falcons. With that, Garcon has amassed career highs with 96 catches and 1,146 yards
The scale of difficulty doesn't increase in Week 16 with the Dallas Cowboys up next, a team whose defense allowed more passing yardage in the NFL than any other entering Week 15. Garcon has another plus matchup to capitalize on, and remains firmly in WR2 territory.
