The Atlanta Falcons' Tony Gonzalez was the latest tight end to carve through the Washington Redskins defense on Sunday.
Tony Gonzalez finds end zone for fantasy owners for third straight week
The Falcons’ veteran tight end was the most targeted receiver on the team during a 27-26 win over the Redskins. We break down the fantasy implications.

Though the Falcons won by the slimmest of margins, the offense did not have to do too much during a game where the Redskins committed seven turnovers. Despite that, Gonzalez accounted for one of the team’s three touchdowns and caught six passes for 62 yards on seven targets, which tied for the team high.
Fantasy Spin: That’s now seven touchdowns this season for the 17-year veteran, and it’s the third straight game that Gonzalez has found paydirt. At a nightmare position in fantasy football, Gonzalez has provided a high-floor option, which is a value that cannot be overstated.
Gonzalez will have a more difficult time finding room to work with versus a stout San Francisco 49ers secondary in Week 16, but he remains a middle-of-the-road TE1. Fantasy owners would be wise to start him as usual.
