Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson carried the ball 17 times for 80 yards in the team's 27-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 15. Jackson also caught one pass for eight yards in the contest.
Fred Jackson subpar in Bills victory, fantasy value handcuffed
The Bills running back had an average day against the Jaguars in Week 15. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: As much as Jackson's performance on Sunday would be viewed by many of his owners as subpar, a touchdown would have put it over the top. He still averaged 4.7 yards per carry in the game, which is great. The thing is that he and teammate C.J. Spiller split carries, so neither player is guaranteed to score each week. They simply limit each other's fantasy value.
If there is one disappointing aspect of Jackson’s performance, it’s that he only caught one pass in the game. He’s typically good for at least a few more grabs. In general, Jackson is more of a significant factor in deeper fantasy leagues and there are many backs in the league ahead of him on the depth chart just because they get more work.
