Drew Brees roughed up by Rams, still racks up fantasy points
The Saints’ leader had a rare tough day against the Rams in Week 15. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: All in all, Brees was definitely in tough against the Rams defense on Sunday, but most fantasy owners probably didn’t expect a Saints loss.
If there is one saving grace in Brees’ day, it’s the high volume of yards he posted. In leagues that reward completions, his effort would have been just fine.
The truth is New Orleans got unexpectedly dominated by a St. Louis team playing relaxed on its home field with nothing to lose. Brees' lone touchdown pass came late in the game to wide receiver Marques Colston.
The Saints can still win their division, but they need to beat the Carolina Panthers on the road in Week 16. Fantasy owners have no choice but to start Brees, though the matchup will admittedly be a challenge.
