Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson did not have his best day receiving, but it didn't stop him from putting up another good line on the score sheet.
Calvin Johnson manages 98 yards for fantasy owners despite drops
The Lions’ No. 1 receiver logged a generous amount of yardage despite leaving missed opportunities on the field. We break down the fantasy implications.

Megatron got his usual mega-dose of targets, but dropped passes and inaccurate throws put a damper on what could have been a huge day for Johnson. Despite the missed opportunities, Johnson finished with six catches for 98 yards, but was kept out of the end zone for the second consecutive game.
Fantasy Spin: Even during difficult matchups -- and the New York Giants present a middling one in Week 16 -- there is never a reason to bench Johnson in any format. The natural ebb and flow of the season will sometimes have Johnson turn in mediocre lines on the stat sheet, but his upside is the unquestioned highest at the position. Fantasy owners fortunate enough to be in their championship matchups can thank Johnson for making it so far, and can start him at his usual WR1 post.
