Fantasy Impact: Cameron caught just three passes against a subpar Bears defense in a losing effort. It was a huge let down considering he caught nine pass for 121 yards and a touchdown against the New England Patriots in Week 14.
As hot as Cameron was to start the season, its clear the team’s instability at quarterback has affected his production. He has just one touchdown in his last seven games after scoring six times in the first half of the season.
At the moment, Cameron is still going through the NFL’s concussion protocol, so it isn’t clear yet whether or not he’ll be able to play this week.
Fantasy owners may indeed have to look elsewhere for a tight end, especially given the Browns aren’t exactly playoff bound, meaning they can sit Cameron and not risk further injury that might hamper his future outlook for years to come.
