Jordan Reed placed on injured reserve, ending fantasy season
The Redskins shut down rookie Jordan Reed for the season with a severe concussion. We break down the fantasy implications.

Reed hasn't played since suffering a severe concussion in Week 11. He has been unable to practice and doctors are still not recommending he play for at least another month or so. Before the injury, he was having a standout rookie season, finishing with 45 catches for 499 yards and three touchdowns in nine games. Fred Davis and Logan Paulsen will fill in for him.
Fantasy impact: If you're still holding on to Reed in re-draft leagues, it's time to finally cut loose. Reed's concussion is scary because he hasn't been cleared to practice in over a month, but he should be ready in time for the offseason program. He quickly developed a rapport with Robert Griffin III and should be a top-five tight end for the 2014 season.
