In a closely contested contest, Brady and the Patriots offense stormed out of the tunnel after halftime for the second straight week, this time scoring on their first five possessions. In a game that contained five different lead changes, Brady put his offense in position to tilt the scales in its favor by finishing the day with 371 yards, two touchdowns and one interception after completing 29-of-41 passes.
Fantasy Spin: Despite its struggles, the Texans defense entered Sunday allowing the fewest passing yards in the NFL, but swiftly had that bullet point erased from its short list of accomplishments this season. Though Brady has struggled at times this season, he still has it in him to be as proficient as he was at his peak, and this was one of those occasions.
Brady faces a challenge next week versus a normally stout Cleveland Browns defense, but with a healthy set of receiving weapons in Rob Gronkowski, Shane Vereen and Julian Edelman, he is equipped to take them on. Brady is a QB1 for Week 14's contest.
