Adrian Peterson outruns the Bears, explodes for huge fantasy points
The Vikings running back was busy and with good reason against the Bears in Week 13. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Peterson’s performance put him over 10,000 yards rushing for his career. He’s the third fastest player ever to surpass that threshold.
If there was a downside to his performance it is that he didn’t find the end zone. Fantasy owners shouldn’t care though, especially in leagues that come with bonuses for high yardage totals. Peterson clearly went above all of those marks in most leagues.
In what’s been a down year for a player of Peterson’s caliber, it was nice to see him run all over a mediocre Bears defense. Averaging 6.0 yards per carry when you touch the ball a total of 37 times in a game is spectacular.
Fantasy owners who own Purple Jesus probably have the upper hand over their opponents this week and one can only hope he finishes the season the way only Adrian Peterson can, running away with the ball.
