Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall caught four passes for 45 yards in a 23-20 overtime loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 13. He was targeted nine times in the game.
Brandon Marshall quiet in the wake of teammates’ fantasy bonanza
The Bears wide receiver saw his teammate register one of the best fantasy lines of the season among all receivers in Week 13. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: There's no denying that Marshall is the best receiver the Bears have in their lineup. The fact he didn't score a touchdown or produce big-time stats on Sunday is no fault of his own. Teammate Alshon Jeffery had the game of his life against the Vikings, catching 12 passes for 249 yards and a pair of touchdowns. With those kind of numbers, quarterback Josh McCown didin't need to look to Marshall that often.
It’s obviously extremely unlikely that Jeffery will post his third 200-yard game of the season in the remaining weeks of the season. With that in mind, fantasy owners shouldn’t hesitate to keep starting Marshall going forward. Even the best receivers in the game have a light day occasionally.
