San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore rushed 15 times for 42 yards and a touchdown in the Week 13 win over the St. Louis Rams. He averaged a measly 2.89 yards per carry. Gore also caught two passes for seven yards and lost a costly fumble. Gore's production has really dipped in the past three games. He averaged a little over 40 yards per game and has only scored one time. Kendall Hunter and Anthony Dixon are in the mix but aren't particularly effective.
Frank Gore slows down still scores for fantasy owners
San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore carried the ball fifteen times for 42 yards and scored a touchdown in the Week 13 win over the St. Louis Rams. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Fantasy impact: Gore is still the workhorse for the 49ers backfield, but he appears to be slowing down. Dixon got eight carries but only averaged 1.6 yards per carry. The 49ers might be considering spelling Gore with some LaMichael James if the downward trend continues to preserve him for a playoff run. This is a situation that bears monitoring for Gore owners. They will face the Seattle Seahawks in Week 14 who will be coming off a short week having played the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football. The Seahawks are giving up the eighth least fantasy points to running backs.
