Fantasy impact: Charles is without a doubt the engine that drives the Chiefs’ offense. He averaged 4.9 per carry in the game and was able to do what he gets paid to do.
The Broncos generally aren’t as good at defending the run as you’d expect from an elite team, so the Chiefs only chance to keep the game close was to exploit that.
As usual though, the Chiefs’ passing game was less than stellar in the game and no match for the Broncos. An elite running game can only do so well if the pass attack isn’t there in support of it.
