Fantasy impact: Smith is a steady quarterback in the fantasy world. An opponent like Peyton Manning can often bring out the best in him and help him find a higher level. That did happen on Sunday.
But as was the case earlier this season, Smith just couldn’t keep up with Manning and ended up with the short end of the stick in the game.
Smith did have lots of help from running back Jamaal Charles and of course the Chiefs' defense. That said, Kansas City simply doesn't have the talent at receiver that the Broncos possess.
Moving forward, Smith will face a lacking Washington Redskins pass defense in Week 14. He should be able to put up yards and touchdowns as the fantasy playoffs begin for owners.
