New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz had a solid performance on Sunday against the Washington Redskins, but he failed to find the end zone. Cruz caught six passes for 80 yards on the day, leading all receivers for both teams. But it was Brandon Myers who managed the lone receiving touchdown for New York, and Logan Paulsen who caught the only touchdown pass from Robert Griffin III.
Victor Cruz has decent fantasy outing but continues touchdown slump
New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz looked good on Sunday, but he failed to find the end zone once again.

Either way, it was a solid game for Cruz, and a nice rebound from his Week 12 performance. Cruz only managed two receptions for 27 yards in last week's game against the Dallas Cowboys, and was only targeted four times. Against Washington, he saw seven targets and effectively moved the chains to help New York to its 24-17 comeback victory.
Unfortunately, failure to find the end zone is a continuing struggle for Cruz. He had three touchdown receptions in the season opener, and had one touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sept. 29. That accounts for all four of his touchdowns this season.
Fantasy Impact: It’s been eight games since Cruz has caught a touchdown reception at this point. He’s having a very tough time at that, but he’s still put up solid yardage numbers week-in and week-out. Cruz has 66 receptions for 931 yards and four touchdowns on the season. This week’s game against Washington was a decent outing, but nothing to write home about.
