Williams did not play in that game, due to a quad strain. He sustained the injury against the Miami Dolphins the previous week, a game which the Panthers won, 20-16. Williams carried the ball 10 times for 31 yards in that game. Williams has watched his production drop over the past several weeks, primarily due to the return of Jonathan Stewart.
The veteran running back hasn't had 50 rushing yards in a game since Oct. 13 against the Minnesota Vikings. On the season, he's got 151 carries for 610 yards and two touchdowns.
Fantasy Impact: It will be good to see Williams back in the lineup, as the Panthers are a better team when he plays. It allows them to vary their rushing attack and keep the other backs fresh, but Williams is no longer the top back either way. Stewart and Mike Tolbert have both looked better than him from time to time, and the injury has done him no favors.
