Fantasy football sit/start advice, Week 16: Philip Rivers
We take a look at whether or not you should start Philip Rivers in your fantasy leagues in Week 16.

Philip Rivers has been consistently solid all season for the San Diego Chargers. He's truly faltered only once, when he threw three interceptions against the Oakland Raiders on Oct. 6, but hasn't had a game without a touchdown this season, and has put up eight touchdowns over his last four games.
On the season, Rivers has completed 337-of-482 pass attempts for 4,048 yards, good for a completion percentage of 69.9 percent, with 28 touchdowns against just nine interceptions. Rivers typically puts up this kind of yardage, but his touchdown numbers are a bit higher than the norm and his interception numbers are much lower than usual.
He’s been a solid play for fantasy owners this year, just when people were thinking he might be on the decline.
Fantasy Sit/Start: Rivers plays the aforementioned Raiders in Week 16. Sure, he threw three picks against them in October, but he also put up 411 passing yards and a pair of touchdowns. On top of that, the Raiders have been absolutely abysmal in the secondary in recent weeks, ever since Nick Foles shredded them for seven touchdowns. This is a no-brainer -- Rivers is a top-five fantasy quarterback for Week 16.
