Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 16: Danny Woodhead and Ryan Mathews
The Chargers turned some heads on “Thursday Night Football” against the Broncos in Week 15. Should fantasy owners still trust Ryan Mathews after so much disappointment in his career?

There are not many players who can be such a lightning rod like Ryan Mathews. Last year, there was even talk of him being the first player taken in fantasy drafts -- sorry if that brought up some painful memories.
Well, he's riding high after one of the most impressive games of any player, a Week 15 win over the Denver Broncos at Mile High. Mathews rushed for 127 yards on 29 carries as the Chargers played the clock-control game.
The big game is nothing new for Mathews, who has rushed for 100 yards in three of his last five games. Plus, the two times he failed to do so came against the Cincinnati Bengals and the Kansas Chiefs -- two solid defenses.
The Chargers get a favorable matchup on Sunday against the Raiders. In case you missed it, Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles had five touchdowns against them in Week 15.
Fantasy impact: Mathews is on fire and he gets a great matchup, meaning he really has to be in almost all lineups this week. Meanwhile, Danny Woodhead is a solid play in PPR as a flex option.
