Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 16: Ace Sanders a risky proposition despite injuries
The rookie out of South Carolina has made some impressive plays this season, but will be hard to trust in the fantasy championships even with Cecil Shorts III out.

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Ace Sanders has shown some promise in his rookie season, but hasn't quite earned enough targets to be a consistent asset in fantasy leagues. Through 13 games, Sanders has just 41 catches for 414 yards and a touchdown. He has good speed but hasn't really turned that into yards after the catch, averaging just 10.1 yards per catch.
Sanders finally scored his first NFL touchdown against the Buffalo Bills in Week 15, showing the burst and quick moves that made the Jaguars draft him out of South Carolina. Despite that score, he still finished with only 17 yards on two catches.
Fantasy impact: With Cecil Shorts III done for the year, Sanders could be in line for more snaps and targets, but it's going to be a tough matchup with the Tennessee Titans' strong pass defense. Chad Henne can't be trusted to get Sanders the ball on a consistent basis. Despite those issues, Sanders is an intriguing Dynasty prospect who has breakout potential next season if the Jaguars can find a real quarterback in the offseason.
