Fantasy football projections, Week 16: Titans vs. Jaguars featuring Delanie Walker, Kendall Wright and Jordan Todman

We break down the Week 16 matchup between the Tennessee Titans and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Jim Brown-USA TODAY Sports

The Week 16 matchup between the Tennessee Titans and the Jacksonville Jaguars features two divisional opponents playing out the season. We've got all the fantasy projections for you courtesy of numberfire.

Tennessee Titans

Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick relies on two players to move the ball down the field through the air. Those players are tight end Delanie Walker and wide receiver Kendall Wright. Walker didn't really arrive on the fantasy scene until Jake Locker went down with a season-ending injury. Since Fitzpatrick took over, Walker has capitalized on his increased targets and is a solid starting option this week against the Jags.

The truly No. 1 pass catcher on the team though is Wright. He won’t get his fantasy owners a ton of yards every week, but he will rack up the catch totals. That makes Wright a top-end PPR option this week against a Jaguars team that is winning more games, but still giving up points to opposing pass attacks.

Jacksonville Jaguars

With running back Maurice Jones-Drew (hamstring) held out of practice for most of the week, it looks like Jordan Todman might get his second start in a row against the Titans. Last week against the Bills, Todman shocked the fantasy world when he managed to string together over 150 total yards. He'll be a high upside play this week because of that, but it remains to be seen whether or not last week was a fluke.

Todman will need to be at his best in support of quarterback Chad Henne. Henne is an okay option as a fantasy fill-in here and there, but his fantasy value is limited. That's not just because Henne himself is not a starting quarterback on most rosters in the NFL, but also because his top guns in the passing game aren't available. Justin Blackmon is sidelined for the remainder of the season due to a suspension and teammate Cecil Shorts III has struggled with injuries for most of the year. That means Henne's top options this week are tight end Marcedes Lewis and receiver Ace Sanders.
