Fantasy football projections, Week 16: Bengals vs. Vikings featuring A.J. Green, Andy Dalton and Adrian Peterson
We break down the Week 16 matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Minnesota Vikings.

The Week 16 matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Minnesota Vikings could see its share of points up on the board. We've got all the fantasy projections for you courtesy of numberfire.
Cincinnati Bengals
Quarterback Andy Dalton isn't exactly a model of fantasy consistency these days. Fortunately for his fantasy owners, this week's game is so juicy it almost doesn't matter. The Vikings give up points through the air to virtually any offense with at least one potent receiver and average quarterback. The Bengals have both of those bases covered, making Dalton an excellent play this week, especially given the Vikings' home field is indoors.
Dalton's willingness to go deep on Sunday should be to the benefit of wide receiver A.J. Green. Green got off to a slow start this season but in the second half he's been outstanding. No one on the Vikings is capable of covering him one-on-one and that makes Green a great option for the fantasy finale this week. He could be in for some really big numbers.
Minnesota Vikings
Running back Adrian Peterson (foot) missed a juicy matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles last week. He doesn't practice much week-to-week so the fact he's been absent over the last few days doesn't faze coach Leslie Frazier. He stated earlier this week he expects Peterson to start. That means there will be no surprise performances from Matt Asiata to throw fantasy owners for a loop.
In the passing game, Matt Cassel will be the guy throwing the ball for the Vikings. Cassel's arm seems to target Greg Jennings and Cordarrelle Patterson more than any other Vikings receivers. Both pass catchers are a bit of a gamble given the fact the fantasy season is coming to an end, but in deeper leagues, either one could provide a surprising impact. In that regard, Patterson rather than Jennings would be the player with more upside.
