Aaron Rodgers injury: Packers QB out Sunday, no fantasy value remaining
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will miss yet another game in Week 16. We break down the fantasy implications.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will not play in Week 16 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rodgers is still recovering from a broken collarbone and has not received medical clearance to play. Rodgers sustained the injury against the Chicago Bears on Nov. 4 and has not played since then.
This will be the seventh consecutive game that Rodgers sits out. The Packers are in a precarious position when it comes to the playoffs. They definitely need wins, but the NFC North isn't out of reach with both the Bears and Detroit Lions faltering in recent weeks.
It seems like Rodgers is really close to being able to play. He’s been practicing to some extent for multiple weeks now, and has been taking part in team drills this week. He’s looked good throwing the football as well, by all accounts.
Fantasy Impact: At this point, Rodgers may play in Week 17 if the Packers manage to still be in the playoff hunt after Sunday’s game against the Steelers. However, that means nothing for fantasy owners who were hoping for some championship heroics from Rodgers. He’s not going to play, but if you’re looking to depend on him, you probably have a backup option already.
