Adrian Peterson injury: Vikings RB questionable, should play for fantasy owners
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is questionable for Week 16. We break down the fantasy implications.

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is questionable for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Peterson is dealing with a foot injury he sustained against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 14. Peterson carried the ball just seven times in that game, for a paltry 13 yards.
Following the game, Peterson missed most of the week's practices and was ruled out for Week 15, despite being adamant that he wanted to play. The Vikings ended up earning the upset over the Philadelphia Eagles, with the help of third string running back Matt Asiata, who carried the ball 30 times for 51 yards with three touchdowns.
Peterson wants to play, though he missed practice on both Wednesday and Thursday. He tested the foot on Friday though, practicing in a limited fashion.
Fantasy Impact: At this point, it seems likely that Peterson will play. He wants to play and the Vikings are likely to listen to him, even if they’re well out of the playoffs. Fantasy owners should have a backup option at the ready, just in case the team elects to keep Peterson from harm. But at this point, he should play and be a weapon for your fantasy football championship.
