Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden is probable for Sunday's game against the AFC West rival San Diego Chargers. McFadden has been inactive since leaving the team's Nov. 28 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. He's dealing with an ankle injury that has also kept him out of practice until this week.
Darren McFadden injury: Raiders RB probable, has little fantasy value
Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden is probable for Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

McFadden managed to practice in a limited fashion on both Wednesday and Thursday, but practiced in full on Friday. It seems very likely that he’s able to play; the only problem is that he’s no longer the starter. McFadden has been disappointing for multiple seasons now thanks to injury, but when he’s been healthy, he hasn’t exactly blown anyone away, either.
On the season, McFadden has 103 carries for 365 yards and four touchdowns. He also has 13 receptions for 85 yards. He's been supplanted by Rashad Jennings, who has 149 carries for 679 yards and six touchdowns.
Fantasy Impact: If you have a mind to start McFadden, then by all means go ahead. He’ll likely play, for what it’s worth. But he’s not likely to get much yardage as the backup to Jennings. If you haven’t already cut your losses and released McFadden, you should now. He has no value remaining as the championship looms and his future is uncertain heading into next season.
