Fantasy football projections, Week 16: Raiders vs. Chargers featuring Rashad Jennings, Philip Rivers and Keenan Allen

The Week 16 matchup between the Oakland Raiders and the San Diego Chargers features two teams with different offensive styles. We've got all the fantasy projections you need, courtesy of numberFire.

Wide receiver Denarius Moore finally came back from injury last week. That's good news for his fantasy owners. The not-so-good news is that he only managed to catch two passes for 46 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs. Moore's effort marked the third straight time he's been held to three receptions or fewer in a contest. Fantasy owners can only hope his production improves against the Chargers.

Luckily for the Raiders, running back Rashad Jennings got back to big time production last week, when he managed 91 yards and a pair of touchdowns against the Chiefs. Although one could argue the Chiefs relaxed on defense with a huge lead, Jennings should be in for another big game against a generous San Diego run defense.

Quarterback Philip Rivers didn't air the ball out as much as his fantasy owners probably thought he would have needed to against the Denver Broncos last week. He only completed 12 passes, but the Chargers defense led the team to a big upset win. Rivers will get back to more pass attempts this week against a weak Raiders defense.

When Rivers does connect with his receivers, you can bet a lot of the production will be at the hands of Keenan Allen. The wide receiver is a top candidate for Rookie of the Year honors and the most consistent fantasy player the Chargers have had this season. The Raiders are good at defending the pass, but Allen should still find his share of opportunities this Sunday.
