Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson will start on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Adrian Peterson active for Vikings, fantasy owners
The Minnesota Vikings won’t have to go another week without their best player. We break down the fantasy implications.

Peterson injured his foot in the first half of the team's Week 14 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, and though an MRI revealed no significant damage, the injury kept him out of action the following week. In wake of missing his first game of the season, Peterson managed to get practice sessions in on Thursday and Friday to put him in line to return to action against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Fantasy Spin: Though the Bengals boast one of the better run defenses in the NFL and with Peterson’s level of effectiveness unknown, fantasy owners would still be playing with fire by keeping the reigning MVP on the bench. Peterson is a well-documented quick healer, and also a player who is more than familiar with playing through pain and thriving despite it.
Peterson has the talent to overcome any poor matchup and his undeniable upside puts him firmly in RB1 territory for championship week. As a result, Fantasy owners can start him with confidence one last time.
