Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning completed his 48th touchdown of the season in the first half against the Houston Texans on Sunday. The future Hall of Fame quarterback also became the seventh player to throw for 5,000 yards in a season, the first time he's accomplished that feat in his illustrious career.

His TD pass came on a 36-yard floater to receiver Demaryius Thomas on the first play of the second quarter. Manning's stat line at half is 296 yards, one TD and no interceptions on 23-of-32 passing.
It’s still Week 16 and he has six quarters to get two scores in order to tie Tom Brady’s single-season record of 50 passing touchdowns.
