Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris cashed in with a touchdown, but yards were difficult to come by versus the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
Alfred Morris scores touchdown for fantasy owners during loss
The Redskins’ bell-cow running back found the end zone on Sunday versus the Dallas Cowboys. We break down the fantasy implications.

Morris was often fed, carrying the ball 24 times, but averaged just 3.7 yards per carry versus a Cowboys defense that dared backup quarterback Kirk Cousins to beat them. Despite that, Morris found the end zone for a 4-yard touchdown and amassed 88 rushing yards to push his season total over the 1,200-yard mark.
Fantasy Spin: Versus a team that had allowed more fantasy points to running backs than any other, fantasy owners would have preferred a better output, especially in PPR leagues. That's been the story for much of Morris' season, but fantasy owners would be hard-pressed to complain about 14 fantasy points during championship week. For those playing in Week 17, Morris remains a solid RB2 option with upside versus the New York Giants, and maintains his status as a solid commodity in dynasty leagues.
