The Redskins’ signal caller had his highs and lows versus the Dallas Cowboys, but did not amass the gaudy totals that he had in his first start of the season. We break down the fantasy implications.

Cousins had a chance to rally with the Redskins down 24-23, but three incompletions and a 4-yard dump-off to Roy Helu, Jr. amounted to a four-and-out. For the majority of the game, Cousins looked in the direction of Pierre Garcon, targeting him 18 times and connecting with his No. 1 11 times for 144 yards. Cousins finished the game completing 21 of 36 passes for 197 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
Fantasy Spin: It was far from the performance that fantasy owners were looking for, versus a Dallas Cowboys defense that entered Week 16 allowing the most points to opposing quarterbacks. Despite Cousins' near 400-yard performance versus the Falcons, Cousins struggled this week with ball placement, often throwing behind his receivers.
For fantasy owners still in action for Week 17, Cousins makes for a middling QB2 option versus the New York Giants.
