The Cowboys’ signal caller wasn’t asked to do too much on Sunday, but did when it counted. We break down the fantasy implications.

Romo completed 17 of 27 yards for 226 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. The Redskins struggled to contain Demarco Murray in the run game, and the game situation did not call for Romo to do much until the end of the fourth quarter with a 23-14 deficit. Romo led a game-winning drive that culminated in a 10-yard touchdown pass to Murray with just over a minute to play.
Fantasy Spin: Versus a leaky Redskins defense, fantasy owners certainly would have desired more than Romo’s 15 standard points, but it’s one that can keep a team in contention.
The Cowboys were also on the wrong side of the time of possession needle, as they were versus the Redskins during the teams’ first meeting, and they attempted just 52 snaps on offense. As a result, too many factors went against Romo’s chances of having a huge fantasy performance, but owners will take the double-digit performance.
