Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson had a quiet day against the New York Giants. We break down the fantasy implications.

Johnson caught three passes for 43 yards in the Lions' 23-20 loss to the New York Giants. Detroit was able to score and make a two-point conversion late in the game, but a Matthew Stafford interception returned for a touchdown forced overtime, where the Giants won it with a field goal.
Unfortunately, it sounds like Johnson was hampered by knee and ankle injuries on Sunday. New York has one of the worst secondaries in the league, and Johnson did not look like he was moving at full speed.
Fantasy Impact: It’s unfortunate for fantasy owners, who have enjoyed what is technically a “down” season for Johnson this year. Its only a down year because it wasn’t record-breaking, though. On the season, Johnson has 84 receptions for 1,492 yards and 12 touchdowns. Hopefully, what he’s done in previous weeks was enough and his uncharacteristically quiet game didn’t lose anyone a fantasy championship.
