After a very rough season, Eli Manning had a rather quiet game from a fantasy perspective in Week 16. It seems unlikely that anybody actually made it to the fantasy championships with Manning as their starting quarterback, but if they did, his performance on Sunday was the very definition of middling.

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning had a so-so day against the Detroit Lions. We break down the fantasy implications.

Manning completed 23 of 42 passes for 256 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Those numbers are actually much better than his average at this point, as Manning has clearly struggled. He’s thrown for almost 10 more interceptions than touchdowns this season.
For what it's worth, Manning did lead the Giants to a 23-20 victory on Sunday. Of course, it was an overtime victory, in which the game was tied after Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford threw a pick six, but the point is that New York won with Manning at the helm.
Fantasy Impact: On the season, Manning has completed 307 of 527 passes for 3,666 yards with 17 touchdowns and 26 interceptions. He’s set to throw for the fewest touchdowns of his career (not counting a rookie season in which he only played in nine games) and has already surpassed his high for interceptions. He was not a solid fantasy performer for much of this season, though he’s definitely been able to demonstrate that he absolutely could have been worse in Week 16.
