Atlanta Falcons running back Steven Jackson rushed 16 times for 53 yards and a touchdown in the Week 16 Monday Night Football loss to the San Francisco 49ers. He was a complete non-factor in the passing game. Jackson averaged 3.3 yards per carry and did work against a very good 49ers defense. On the year, Jackson has rushed 144 times for 502 yards and six touchdowns. He is averaging 45.6 rushing yards per game.
Steven Jackson posts decent fantasy game in loss to the 49ers on MNF
Atlanta Falcons running back Steven Jackson rushed 16 times for 53 yards and a touchdown in the Week 16 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Fantasy impact: Jackson isn't the great fantasy option he used to be, but he is picking up tough yards behind a generally subpar offensive line. You probably shouldn't rely on him if you have a championship game looming, however. The Falcons will face another tough defense in Week 17 when they face off against the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers are giving up the second-fewest fantasy points to running backs.
