Davis failed to record a catch despite a matchup with a Falcons team that entered the evening allowing the fourth-most fantasy points to players at his position. Davis was targeted three times, including a play that could have resulted in a touchdown, but Davis reacted late to the ball, which fell harmlessly to the turf. It was the first game of the season that Davis was held without a catch.
Fantasy Spin: It's hard to trust Davis after putting on a vanishing act in a crucial week of fantasy football. However, he faces an Arizona Cardinals defense that has allowed far more fantasy points to tight ends than any other team this season, including 16 touchdowns. Davis had his biggest game of the season versus them in Week 6, catching eight passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns. Fantasy owners still playing in Week 17 would be wise to start the versatile tight end despite posting his biggest clunker of the season.
