Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb has "a real chance" of playing in Sunday's season finale against the Chicago Bears, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. Cobb has been out since breaking his leg in Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens.
Randall Cobb could return for Sunday, but is a fantasy stay-away
The wide receiver hasn’t played since Week 6, but it’s starting to look like he has a chance to play in the season finale. We break down the fantasy implications.

In five games this season, Cobb has 29 catches for 378 yards and two touchdowns. He also has four rushes for 78 yards. in his absence, the team has used second-year receiver Jarrett Boykin, who has 673 receiving yards and three touchdowns, with much of that production coming while receiver James Jones was also ailing.
Fantasy impact: Peak Cobb can be a fantasy game-changer; in the four full games he has played this year (he left Week 6 early with the injury), he has scored double-digit fantasy points three times. Rookie running back Eddie Lacy is banged up this week, and Cobb has been a big weapon on end-around runs and the like for the Packers in recent years; there is nothing so dreamy as a player running the ball against the Bears' defense.
The flip side of this is a must-use Cobb is a fully healthy and up-to-speed Cobb, and it seems unlikely he’ll be those things even if he is on the field Sunday. Ultimately, it seems like it would be close to impossible to rely on Cobb in a championship scenario. It would be nice to see him back on the field, but he’s a fantasy avoid.
