The Baltimore Ravens have their work cut out for themselves to make the playoffs heading into Week 17. They need to win and have the San Diego Chargers or Miami Dolphins lose. Plus, they might have a banged up Ray Rice in the fold against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 17: Ray Rice still can’t get it going
Ray Rice remains a massive bust in fantasy leagues, but can he end his season on a high note in Week 17 for fantasy owners?

Rice has a quad injury and would have been limited on Wednesday, but he had a full practice week after the holiday. Hopefully, the day off is going to help him after what’s clearly been the worst year of his career. He’s averaged just 3.1 yards per carry and has just 645 rushing yards on the season. The Ravens rank 28th in rushing yards and are dead last in yards per carry, so Rice’s numbers certainly reflect the team’s output.
Fantasy impact: Even if Rice was at 100 percent, fantasy owners shouldn't really be counting on him. He has no burst and lacks big-play ability. The Bengals defend the run very well, making Rice more of a flex play in most formats. Bernard Pierce could get one a bigger role in the last game of the season, as well.
