Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins was named the starter for the final three games of the season. Head coach Mike Shanahan shut down Robert Griffin III for the year, saying he wanted to protect the franchise quarterback's health (or undermine Dan Snyder, depending on who you ask). Cousins has been performing OK for himself, completing 58.5 percent of his passes for 685 yards, four touchdowns and five interceptions, but the team still hasn't won in either of his starts.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 17: Kirk Cousins has appealing matchup vs. Giants
Kirk Cousins will close out the season as the Redskins’ starting quarterback against the Giants. We break down the fantasy implications.

Cousins almost led the Redskins to an upset win over the Dallas Cowboys, throwing for 167 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the loss.
Fantasy impact: The Redskins fave the New York Giants to close out a disappointing season. Cousins could find himself on the trade market if he performs well and leads Washington to a win. For fantasy owners playing into Week 17, Cousins has some QB2 appeal against a Giants defense just mailing it in.
