Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer is coming off one of his worst performances of the season, but he still has the Cardinals in playoff contention. Palmer threw for just 178 yards and tossed four interceptions against the Seattle Seahawks. It was the first time since Week 8 that he was held below 200 passing yards.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 17: Carson Palmer has tough matchup vs. 49ers
The Cardinals need a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. Can fantasy owners trust Carson Palmer this week?

Despite the poor numbers, it was still enough for the Cardinals to beat Seattle on the road, 17-10. The Cardinals are 10-5 heading into the regular season finale against the San Francisco 49ers. The Cardinals need both a win and a loss by the New Orleans Saints to clinch a wild-card spot.
Fantasy impact: Palmer is also dealing with an elbow injury and has been limited in practice, but he’s expected to play. The last time the Cardinals played the 49ers in Week 6, Palmer completed 25-of-41 passes for 298 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. It’s hard to recommend starting him outside of the deepest fantasy leagues, if you’re still playing in Week 17.
