Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed is still suffering from headaches and has not been cleared to play by an independent neurologist, according to a report by The Washington Post’s Mark Maske.
Jordan Reed struggling with concussion, fantasy status up in the air
The Redskins tight end has missed the last two games with post-concussion symptoms. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Reed’s headache troubles couldn’t have come at a worse time. The playoffs start in Week 14 in most leagues.
He originally suffered the concussion back in Week 11 against the Philadelphia Eagles. He became a hot waiver wire addition when he exploded for nine catches 134 yards and a touchdown in a game against the Chicago Bears in mid-October.
He has three touchdowns on the season and prior to getting hurt against the Eagles, he managed at least four catches in five straight games. It’s clear that Reed has become one of quarterback Robert Griffin’s favorite targets.
If he were healthy, Reed would be a bonafide starter for your playoff push. That said, if he is out against the Chiefs this week, teammate Logan Paulsen is the next tight end on the Redskins depth chart.
