New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles caught seven passes for 32 yards and rushed three times for 11 yards in the team's Week 13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. He only played 19 snaps in the game, according to Pro Football Focus.
Darren Sproles seeing limited snaps, playoff fantasy value in question
The Saints running back is catching passes, but his playing time is decreasing. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Teammate Pierre Thomas played 29 snaps and appeared to be taking away action from Sproles on passing downs. Though Sproles has admittedly not been the fantasy performer he usually is this year, Monday’s stat lines have to puzzle his owners.
It’s clear that Sproles can’t be counted on at all outside of leagues that reward receptions. In fairness he has struggled with knee and ankle injuries and the team got blown out in Seattle, so perhaps there’s hope that last Monday night was just an anomaly.
The Saints play a Carolina Panthers team that is absolutely on fire in Week 14. Fantasy owners who want to guarantee themselves another week of play may want to look outside of Sproles if they can help it.
