Of course, that decision will come down to the coaches on gameday. Reed is recovering from a significant concussion that forced him to miss two games. He sustained the injury against the Philadelphia Eagles on Nov 17, catching just one pass for 12 yards in that game.
Fantasy Impact: Reed has been solid this season, with 45 receptions fr 499 yards and three touchdowns. He’s far from a must-start tight end at this point, but the rookie has shown a lot of promise on a Redskins team that has been less than stellar. He’s definitely a keeper in dynasty leagues as this point.
As far as Week 14 is concerned, Reed could definitely play. It wouldn’t be surprising at all, but it’s hard to recommend starting him in fantasy. The Redskins aren’t competing for a spot in the playoffs at this point, and Reed could be eased back into the lineup following his injury.
