If Palmer is unable to go, Drew Stanton would get the start. For what it's worth, Arians expressed confidence in Stanton's abilities in the event that Palmer cannot play.
Palmer is dealing with an elbow injury that has kept him extremely limited in practice this week. He sustained the injury against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 13, but played through it. He finished that game with 302 yards and three touchdowns, but also had two interceptions.
Fantasy Impact: Palmer has completed 274 of 436 passes (62.8 percent) for 3,189 yards with 19 touchdowns against 17 interceptions. He’d been playing well before the matchup against the Eagles, and wasn’t exactly terrible in that one, either. It sounds like he’ll play, especially given the fact that Palmer doesn’t exactly need a full week of practice to be ready. However, it’s hard to recommend him in fantasy given the injury.
