Arizona Cardinals running back Andre Ellington is listed as questionable for the team's Week 14 matchup against the St. Louis Rams. Ellington is dealing with a knee injury he sustained in practice in the lead-up to the team's Week 13 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Andre Ellington questionable, fantasy value up in the air
Arizona Cardinals running back Andre Ellington is questionable for Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Ellington was a game-time decision for that game, but he was held out in the end. Ellington is a rookie, and not quite as big as some of the other running backs in the NFL. The team likely wants to play it safe and keep him from sustaining any significant injuries early in his career. Much of his running style is based on his quickness and agility, as well.
On the season, Ellington has 73 carries for 441 yards and two touchdowns, on top of 28 receptions for 247 yards and a receiving touchdown. He's taken over in place of Rashard Mendenhall, who has disappointed big time.
Fantasy Impact: That said, Ellington is still not a back the Cardinals want to give a full load, even when he’s healthy. He hasn’t carried the ball more than 15 times in a single game this season. The Cardinals want to keep him fresh, and if he plays on Sunday, it’s likely he’ll receiver fewer carries than usual.
