The Week 14 matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and the Cincinnati Bengals features two teams struggling offensively. We have all the fantasy projections for you courtesy of numberFire.
Indianapolis Colts
The Colts passing game has been struggling lately. Quarterback Andrew Luck is still finding touchdowns and still posting respectable yardage numbers, but things simply look shaky. He's not connecting with T.Y. Hilton or Darrius Heyward-Bey nearly as often as fantasy owners expected. Luck will need to get back on track against the Bengals, especially for his fantasy owners, who probably lack confidence in him right now.
One target that has opened up more for Luck is tight end Coby Fleener. It's about time. Perhaps Luck's struggles have forced him to look to Fleener more as a safety valve to try to get the ball down the field. He has over 200 yards receiving and a touchdown over the last three weeks after not being able to get passed 200 yards in the previous five games. 33 targets in the last four games might have something to do with that.
Cincinnati Bengals
The Colts aren't exactly known for their pass defense. Fantasy owners of quarterback Andy Dalton are hoping that continues to be the case as the playoffs begin. Dalton was average against the San Diego Chargers last week. He threw for just 190 yards and one touchdown to go with an interception. The good thing is that he avoided getting sacked in the game.
Dalton's lone touchdown pass in the game went to star receiver A.J. Green, who finished with five catches and 83 yards against the Chargers. He's a premier pass catcher that can exploit a mismatch with ease. There will be tons of mismatch situations available against the Colts and that makes Green a top candidate for a big week.
