The New York Giants will take on the San Diego Chargers in a Week 14 matchup on Sunday. Neither team has been particularly good this year, and both are essentially out of the running for their respective divisions. Both are 5-7 and hoping to finish above 8-8 still, however. Both teams also feature some solid fantasy options, so we'll take a look at who you should start and who should sit, starting with the home team:
Fantasy football sit/start advice, Week 14: Chargers vs. Giants
We take a look at who you should start when the San Diego Chargers take on the New York Giants.

Chargers
Start: Philip Rivers, Keenan Allen
Rivers is one of the top quarterbacks in the league. Throwing for multiple touchdowns and 300 yards or so seems like a safe bet just about every week, even against a Giants defense that has improved leaps and bounds since the beginning of the season. Allen will be the primary beneficiary of Rivers’ strong play.
Deep Start: Ryan Mathews
Mathews is a decent running back at this point, but the Giants are solid against the run. He’s a fringe RB2 option and should be used accordingly.
Allen will get a boatload of yardage from Rivers, but Royal and Brown will likely be blanketed. The two might combine for a solid amount of yardage, but neither is a smart option on his own. Woodhead isn’t likely to see the field too much.
Giants
Start: Eli Manning, Andre Brown, Victor Cruz
Manning is a solid quarterback, but he’s an interception machine this season. The Chargers don’t have a great pass defense however, and you were probably going to start him anyway. Cruz should be the one to catch what Manning puts out there, so he’s a must-start. Brown has been very productive and he’s found the end zone recently. He only had 35 yards a week ago, which is all the more reason to think he can rebound.
Deep Start: Brandon Myers
San Diego is not good at stopping tight ends, and Myers has had touchdown grabs in his last two games. He’s not a must-start by any means, but could have value.
Sit: Hakeem Nicks, Rueben Randle
Nicks is not dependable whatsoever. He might have a big game, but it will be a surprise given the way he’s played this season. Randle can always put something together, but at this stage of the game, it’s all about sure things, and Randle surely is not that.
