San Francisco tight end Vernon Davis has been a top-five tight end through out the entire season. While he's averaging a little less than four catches per game, he has 10 touchdowns on the year and has hit a career best 16.8 yards per catch. Davis is an athletic freak who is arguably just as talent as elite tight ends Rob Gronkowski or Jimmy Graham. What holds his fantasy value back is the fact that San Francisco is a very run-heavy offense and Davis is asked to due more blocking than most. However, Davis has caught four passes and a touchdown in each of his last three games and is San Francisco's most reliable receiver.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 14: Vernon Davis remains a strong play
Vernon Davis has been hot the last three weeks. Can he keep it going against the Seahawks?

Fantasy Impact: The largest looming threat to Davis’ fantasy production is the return of wide receiver Michael Crabtree. After returning from an Achilles’ tendon tear, Crabtree made his first start last week. He didn’t play every snap but his role should grow every week. Even if Crabtree’s productivity does return, fantasy owners shouldn’t panic. Davis will remain a top-five fantasy play and owners in all types of leagues shouldn’t even think about benching him.
