San Francisco wide receiver Michael Crabtree looked solid in his 2013 debut. He caught two passes, one of which went for 60 yards and played in over 60 percent of the snaps. He showcased some of his big-play ability and emerged from the game without any setbacks. After starting his career rather slowly, Crabtree finally came on last year and finished his fourth season with 85 receptions for 1,105 yards and nine touchdowns. He didn’t miss a game and went over the 100-yard receiving mark in four of them.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 14: Michael Crabtree can’t yet be trusted for fantasy playoffs
Crabtree looked pretty good in his first game of the season last week. Can he build on that against the Seahawks?

Crabtree looked as if he’d be a solid WR2 play in 2013 until he tore his Achille’s tendon last May, an injury that has been known to sap players’ explosiveness. Finally healthy enough to get on the field this year, Crabtree’s role and effectiveness are still yet to be determined.
Fantasy Impact: While Crabtree’s debut was solid, it wasn’t so spectacular to the point where he’s a must start in the fantasy playoffs. Owners need to considertion that San Francisco is taking on Seattle’s elite secondary known as “The Legion of Boom.” Crabtree could be in for a long afternoon with elite corner back Richard Sherman. Crabtree is an average flex play.
