Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush was expected to play on Sunday, according to a report by ESPN's Adam Schefter, but now, his status is in doubt.
According to Tony Ortiz of 97.1 The Ticket, Bush slipped on the field during pregame warmups and may have re-aggravated his calf injury. Bush was originally listed as active, but it’s fair to question his status for the game after this report.
Bush got some individual work in this week and practiced with the team on Friday during the portion that was available to the media. Earlier in the week, Bush was sidelined due to a calf injury, which is different from the knee injury that he had dealt with for most of the season. Despite that, Bush has played in all but one game for the Lions, and he will likely suit up in Week 14.
Fantasy Spin: If Bush resumes his duties atop the Lions' depth chart, fantasy owners can pen him into his usual RB1 slot. There should be plenty of chances for Bush to rip off big chunks of yardage versus a Philadelphia Eagles defense that has allowed 4.1 yards per carry this season and 115.5 rushing yards per game.
Coming off of a Thanksgiving game where he posted his highest yardage total since Week 1, a healthy Bush should remain starting in leagues of all formats.
