Jordan Reed inactive for Redskins, fantasy owners
The Redskins will remain without their starting tight end for the third straight week. We break down the fantasy implications.

Reed has missed the team's past two games after sustaining a concussion in Week 11 against the Philadelphia Eagles, and will now miss a third. Reed practiced at a limited basis prior to Sunday's game and was a late scratch before the team's previous matchup with the New York Giants.
Fantasy Spin: It’s an unfortunate circumstance for fantasy owners, but a far better one than a week ago when Reed appeared on track to play. As a result, last-minute contingency plans were needed for Reed’s owners since all but one other game had started by the time Reed was ruled out. Owners will at least have the benefit of picking from a wide-open free agent pool, although options are limited to begin with.
Logan Paulsen will start in Reed's place, but makes for a desperate play this week against a Chiefs defense that has allowed the fewest fantasy points to tight ends this season. Then again, these are desperate times for Reed's owners, who will have to go to a backup plan for the third straight week.
