Cleveland Browns quarterback Jason Campbell is active for the team's matchup versus the New England Patriots.
Jason Campbell active for Browns, deep-league fantasy owners
The Cleveland Browns will rely on Jason Campbell once again under center this week versus the New England Patriots. We break down the fantasy implications.

In the latest rotation of the quarterback carousel in Cleveland, Campbell has been thrust back into the starting lineup now that Brandon Weeden is sidelined with a concussion. Campbell had moderate success under center during his four-game stint as starter, but was sidelined with a concussion of his own in Week 13's matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Fantasy Spin: Campbell has his work cut out for him on the road versus an improving Patriots team, but still has a vulnerable defense lining up across from him. Despite that, The Patriots have allowed the 12th fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season and present a moderately difficult matchup for Campbell and company.
As a result, Campbell is not an attractive start in leagues of 10 or 12 teams, and is a middling QB2 option in two-quarterback formats. His presence allows Josh Gordon to remain a WR1, but tight end Jordan Cameron remains a low-end TE1.
